What a welcome home show! 90 min of dubstep, with a little bit of breaks to stir it up, rinse, repeat
This was recorded live my first night home in SF after my 6 month business trip to NYC

In trying to be both bandwith-sensitive and soundsystem-sensitive, I’ve compressed it to both 300kbps and 128kbps for ya. The 300kbps holds up well even through an ipod driving the skull-#%@&ing system at Sera-Phi, as some of you may remember from the following night, when we learning about the *Big Thing*!

Oh, this show was such a fresh start, a blessing of the new year. I was asked by Sunset / Fringe to provide the music at 3am on New Year’s Day Morning to bridge a wonderful accousticy set from Blue Turtle Seduction to my electro-rocking brother BLVD. This is what it sounded like. I will be remastering it, as sound get a bit touchy in some places, but you may not be surprised, sometimes we get touchy as well as feely at this point after New Year’s Eve in SF, am I right?

An honor and a pleasure to play at the Hawai’i Electronic Music festival ( http://www.bigislandlove.com ) this year. Clearly. And not just to escape the Brooklyn winter! This Saturday night I was playing the ‘ambient lounge’ room at the Palace in Hilo, and started and finished that way. But you dancers! We couldn’t help but rock it out in the middle, funny story about that, Sprocket…

This one is also a bedroom mix, but is my first one experimenting with three channels. It is more rocking, and combines some familiar breaks mixed in a new style (did I mention three channels?) While this is an ableton mix, it is mixed in one take, from the heart, using a real DJ Mixer.

also know in some circles as ‘crucial dubstep.’ This is my first shot at a dubstep mix, and is an all vinyl mix. I recorded this right before dubstep really blew up in the bay area, right before it changed. Check it out, it’s different and still holds up.
